This review is my opinion. I would recommend this book for your library. Barnes & Noble and Amazon both have this book for $19.90. I actually interlibrary loaned my copy.
I felt this book was very thorough. This book covered many faceted of polymer clay techniques, types of clays available on the market, including metal clay and Precious Metal Clay which can be combined with polymer clay.
She discussed powders, acrylics, inks, metallic powders, leafing , gilding wax, artist pastels, types of varnishes, tools, mixing color formulas. Examples of what you can make were exhibited in her book. Just to name a few: lentil beads, buttons, and image transfer.
