Fresh Air is on radio 89.9
I was listening to Public Radio Station out of Peoria Illinois, tonight on the way home from shopping. It was really interesting. Marty Stuart talked about his life and how he got started in the county music business. He was 12 and he went on road trip with a group and they dropped him off at the end of the summer. He went to school but ended up wanting to read more about country music. So one day while in his history class, his teacher came up and told him he would learn more if he threw that out, so instead he told the teacher he would rather make history than to read about it. That is exactly what he did. It was cool listening about his life thus far. I was not famaliar with him until tonight. He just came out with an album called ‘Saturday Night, Sunday Morning: He played one song from his new album called Rough around the edges.
