What do you consider is the most perfect food for you? (It can be your favorite food to something extremely healthy.) Couple of years ago we went to Houlihan’s and I had the most delicious platter. It consisted of zucchini noodles and other vegetables with side of salmon that had been marinated. That has been my wish to go back there on my birthday. But haven’t gotten there yet. It was so good!!!!

Are you focused on today or tomorrow? Both. I like to plan my day. But I also have some genealogy goals to fulfill, I have promised people I would do for them. I met someone at my husband Goodrich Reunion and their distance 6 or 7 great grandparents I think runs into my line.

My Cousin daughter wants some family history and asked if she could pay me as she has two daughters and wants them to have a genealogy book.  I am excited that someone finally cares about the work I have been doing for years.  I am not going to charge her in fact I would like to deliver it to her in person. They live in Louisiana. I have never had desire to go there but now I do.

Third thing I started last year but put it aside I want to get my Long Family together and donate it to the Juniata County Genealogical Society in Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.

If you could interview one of your great-great-great grandparents, who would it be (if you know their name) and what would you ask? Funny that you would ask this as I am also working on family history. Well I would like to interview quite a few on both my maternal and paternal side. I would like to know what it was like for them growing up during their teen years.. Were there parents strict with them. Why did they decide to come to America vs going to another continent.

What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week?  Feel free to use a quote, a photo, a story, or even a combination. I have had an over abundance of tomatoes this year. They got in late but I was still blessed with tomatoes on vine in October.

I froze some of them in ziplock freezer bags. Then I decided just recently to make up my own spaghetti sauce and make that from the tomatoes that are still coming off the vine. I was at the dentist again this afternoon and the dentist mentioned  his wife puts spaghetti sauce in zip lock bags.They now have 49 bags so they can have spaghetti one a week.

I was going to use canning jars, but the ziplock bags sounded so much easier.  I had not thought about putting them in freezer bags. So I came home and poured 2 cups into each ziplock bag and placed them in the freezer. I had made batch yesterday from Roma tomatoes. The second batch i added dehydrated onions and zucchini slices. I figured I could either use it for spaghetti or lasagna.
