Would you prefer a reading nook or an art, craft, photography studio?
Boy that is hard desicion to make. My first thought was both, but to I guess an art studio. I have an art-craft room but it is only in small room. I like to do framing and matting. It would be nice to be able to keep the mat cutter up all the time instead of having to turn it on its side and slide it behind something to store it as there isn’t enough space to have table that big in the room I am in. In fact my mat cutter fits pretty good on the island in the kitchen. But presently we are down sizing so I have decided to sell my mats, and mat cutter. Hope I am not going to miss it too much. I have friend that recently asked me if I would show her how to block needlework and show her how to make frames. So I am glad my friend is taking my stuff, so at least I know it is going to someone that will take care of it.
Tell how you are feeling today in the form of a weather report. (For example, partly cloudy, sunny with a chance for showers, etc.) Today is beautiful Sunny Day and wind is bringing in warm breeze. The day is going to get warmer, I am excited that winter weather hasn’t started yet. We went to Colorado for Thanksgiving and nice to know we will still be having great weather for traveling.
If you could witness or physically attend any event past, present or future, what would it be? I will have to give some thought on this.I will add something later.
What inspired you or what did you appreciate this past week? We went to Colorado to visit family over thanksgiving. We also went to few places to get a feel for the town. We were thinking about moving closer to family after we retired. After visiting Sterling, Colorado Springs, Cripple Creek and Cannon City. We decided that more southern was nice, but the prices in homes have risen so much that we have decided to look else where. Sterling, Colorado is much like the weather we get in Central Illinois. The temperature was 18 degrees in the morning when were were there, then by noon it had gotten up to 56. Colorado Springs was warmer yet still could get cool in the morning. Canon City felt like Florida when were there one day last week and fell in love with the many of the houses down there. The old downtown section had a quaint historical downtown to visit. Cripple Creek was a night mare. This town is located in the mountains. Some of their streets were so steep I could not image driving there when they were snow packed. The houses were set very close together. Some of the houses roofs hung over their neighbors. I guess the only good part would be with wall so close would help with the home staying warmer perhaps.. Also it reminded me of the Green Tree area where I lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I lived on Dagmar Street. One side was very steep and the other end was not so steep to go down.
